Dashing Through The Snow
by Marnie Bushmole

Good Morning!  We've experienced snow already it was pretty when it started like this floating around the trees.  I love the soft sound snow creates in the world it's as if everything is muffled!  Today I have created a soft card using some of my collected vintage sheet music.  Some of the sheet music I collect is to fragile to actually use or display it can then become part of a project so it can live on.  First used the Zippy Dots stencil randomly with Versamark ink and white embossing powder from Imagine Crafts.  Just sponge it randomly through the stencil, over a piece of vintage sheet music,  and add the embossing powder.  Once everything was heat set I layed down the Birch Landscape Stencil and used 2 colors of Pan Pastels, Ultramarine Blue Tint and Ultramarine Blue, over the stencil.  I kept checking for color intensity.   It had to be blue visible but still remain soft.  Finally I added the sheet music to a white card and cut a snow drift and the phrase Dashing Through The Snow from pearl paper with the Curved Dashing Die.  It is attached with foam tape for dimension.  The Midnight Blue solid twine finishes the project off.

Hope everyone is having a Wonderful Tuesday.  You can find all of the Memory Box Products used on Memory Box Co. Website  or in the InLinkz below and a shopping guide for a store near you is just at the top of this blog.

Thank you so much for stopping by have a great day!

Paper Angel of Wonder
by Marnie Bushmole

Good Morning!  Holiday preparations are in full swing here.  I did find a little time to play with some new techniques.   Today my cards background uses one of these.   The card is embellished with a gold matte and shiny Paper Angel(she is so adorable) layered on top of card stock and matte gold card stock cut from the Pinpoint Circle Layers.  For the greeting I stamped the word "Wonder" from the Words to Live By stamp set, in Versamark by Imagine Crafts and embossed it with Imagine Crafts Gold embossing powder.

For this background  I've used Tulip dry fabric dye as a watercolor medium.  It is so much fun to play with and I love how the dye reacts when water is added.  Here I have used black dye only, I wet the sprinkled dye then added some drops of Perfect Pearls Mist "Sunflower Sparkle" for a hint of gold.   I love how the black dye had all of these other colors pop out of it not just black but pink and oranges as well.

Merry And Bright Sled
by Marnie Bushmole

Good November Morning!  It's finally ok to start preparing for Christmas!  I'm so excited this is my favorite time.  I love creating Holiday cards and projects!   So for today I have a fun water colored piece with the Large Winter Sled layered over and the Merry and Bright stamped in gold.   There is a bit of gold thread added to the sled as a pull.  I just used my 1/16" hole punch to thread it through.

The watercolor background is done on a die cut piece of water color paper using the Pinpoint Square Layers.  The watercolor red is Brusho and the green dots are from a tube of water color they match the Memory Box patterned papers used here.

The card itself is a 5" square card which I haven't tried in awhile but I do love how the square cards turn out.

Hope your having a Wonderful Week!  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Be sure to check out the NEW November Memory Box Challenge #6 Glitter here

Frosty Mitten Card
by Marnie Bushmole

Good Thursday Morning!  It seems winter is quickly on it's way here we've changed quickly from Lovely Fall to blustery cold.  All I could think about was mittens and gloves and scarves and well you get the idea.  Time to prepare to bundle up.  Not just ourselves but our projects as well.  So today I have this fun card to keep us warm.

I've used the Plush Frosty Mitten and cut it out of felt.  Then I stitched it and all of the elements to a piece of burlap.   The entire piece is attached to some Memory Box Gingham paper and then onto a Kraft Card with a touch of green ribbon to finish it off.

Thank you so much for stopping by we really appreciate it!  Don't forget there is only a little over a day for the October Memory Box Challenge - Black and White get your entries in for some Wonderful Prizes.

Have an Amazing Weekend and don't forget to check back for some other Great ideas.

Country Tom Turkey
by Marnie Bushmole

Good Afternoon.  That sounds so funny I am so used to posting in the morning.....  But today I have an afternoon break card for you.  It's a happy fall card using Memory Box Stamps and dies.

The first die I chose to work with today is the Counrty Fence Oval Frame die which I filled with fall leaves from the Autumn Birdie stamp set.  I layered some color onto the Country Fence scene and added one of the Turkeys from the Classic Tom Turkeys die set.  The happy fall is also from the Autumn Birdie stamp set as well.  I've outlined it and the oval with a Metallic Gold pen from Prismacolor.  This is how it looks outside my window right now.  Well minus the Turkey.  But with the leaves falling in all colors!  I love Fall and the crisp air and beautiful colors and tried to convey all of that here.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Enjoy the remainder of your day!

A Little Birdie Told Me
by Marnie Bushmole

Good Morning!  Hope everyone has recovered from the Blog Blitz last week! We have but the fun doesn't have to stop we are still creating with the new products!  Today I've created a very soft card with this adorable Autumn Birdie Clear Stamp Set.  The bird was colored with Copic then I cut it out with the Pinpoint Circles.  The background is also created with Copic.  More circles  and a Scallop Pinpoint Circle cut out of Memory Box Papers and glitterized.  I love how the focal point turned out!

The background was created by cutting the Tippington Vine over and over and layering it onto Memory Box Paper.  Gives a soft raised look to the background.  Finally a satin ribbon to finish it off.

Hope your having a wonderful week.  Thank you so much for stopping by be sure to check back for more amazing ideas with this latest release!

Autumn Birdie
by Design Marnie Bushmole

Happy Tuesday!  Or should I say Happy Autumn?   With Autumn comes a New Release from Memory Box.  I love some of the new stamps and matching dies.   I've used the, oh so cute, Autumn Birdie set with my copic markers to create this adorable card.  For the background I created a background using the Cloud Cover Stencil and some paste.  The postage stamp comes from the Postage Set and layers added from the Perfect Patch Strip.  I am in love with the new Tippington Vine as well which our little birdie is perched on.

Of course I've added a bit of glitter for some sparkle on the clouds.  I adore how it turned out!  That little bit of sparkles sets everything off perfectly.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a Wonderful Tuesday!

Who Let The Bats Out????
by Marnie Bushmole

Good Morning Crafty Die Cutters!  How is everyone today?  YUP you knew it was coming yet another Halloween card.  But really who can resist a silver cage full of bats with a shiny bow on top?  It was too much fun! Plus your going to have to own the die Who Let The Birds Out because everyone needs that one!  I couldn't help myself.  All of the papers including the card are by Memory Box all but the silver the cage is cut out of.   Purple, green and orange are perfect colors for this adorable card.

Glittery Cave Bats
by Marnie Bushmole

Good Morning,  we're having a wonderful extended summer.   That hasn't stopped me from making more Halloween cards though even if I kind of promised a couple of cards ago it was my last...  I just can't seem to stop myself, every time I find a wonderful supply or die.  This time I found this fun green glitter paper and can I tell you the possibilities are endless, I was in love at first sight.  Here I've added the Cave Bat Border along one side in black and used some of the bats that fall out from it to embellish then the word Halloween comes from the Stitched Halloween Circle Frame.  To really make the word stand out I foam taped it and added some clear Wink of Stella over the top.   For that finishing touch of even more sparkle.

Hope everyone is having an Amazing Thursday!  Thank you so much for stopping by!
