Let It Snow
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! It's Isha with you today. Last week we had our first snow of the season and the new "Batavia Snowbreeze" die, totally set me in the mood for this glittery, yet soft kind of card. Just like snow :)

Isha_card6th

To create this card, I cut a mat layer using white cardstock and the die-cut the "Batavia Snowbreeze" Die. I then sponged some distress inks to the edges and added tiny rounds. To add these tiny round snow, I die-cut the same die onto a piece of another cardstock and used the tiny circles as my stencil.

I then took a scrap piece of cardstock, applied versamark ink to it and added 3 colors of glitter embossing powders. I used this piece behind the mat layer. I then die-cut the words "Let It Snow" using the same DIY glitter paper. Here is a close-up to see all the glitter.

To create this card, I started with die-cutting some hills using the "Stitched Curves" dies. I then sponged some blue ink to the top parts of it and adhered them from sides and lower edge onto a white mat layer.

I then die-cut some pine trees using the Stitched Circle Trees dies and colored them using copic markers.

Then I stamped all the images, colored them using copic markers and die-cut them using the coordinating dies.

Finally stamp the sentiment and assemble everything together.

To finish I added some stickles for the glittery effect.

Merry Christmas
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! It's Isha with you today. Today, I mixed and matched lots of stamps and dies to create my winter scene. I really like how everything co-ordinates so well.

IMG_5673a_wm

To create this card, I die-cut the hill and added a little color using peerless watercolor. I then cut a mat layer and created a wash for the sky using peerless watercolor. I then die-cut 3 Piccolo snowflakes using white cardstock.

Now, I stamped a couple of images using Versafine onyx black ink and colored them using watercolors. Once dry I die-cut these images using the coordinating dies. I then assembled the card as per the photo and flicked some white paint on it. Finally, I added a bit of glitter to create snow.

The glitter is more visible in the close-up.

Merry Christmas
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! It's Isha with you today. I created this fun Christmas card using so many different snowflakes dies. Isn't it wonderful how we can mix and match them.

IMG_5587a_wm

To create this card, I first created a white top fold card base. Then I cut a mat layer and sponged various distress inks onto it. Now I flicked some water and gold mist onto it and let this piece dry. Meanwhile, I cut the Piccolo snowflakes and adhered them to the sponged panel. I then sponged these snowflakes using a very light pressure.

I then die-cut the Purslane snowflake outline and sponged it using the same colors of distress inks. I then die-cut the Purslane snowflake using gold foil cardstock. I adhered the snowflakes together. Love this effect.

Now I stamped the sentiment using gold embossing powder. Once everything was ready, I tied the jute twine to my panel and adhered it to the cardbase. I then adhered the snowflake and the sentiment. To finish I added some sequins.

Hope you enjoyed this card. Have a wonderful crafty day!

Let It Snow
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! It's Isha here today, once again, I am sharing a fun CAS Christmas card which is easy to mass produce. There are so many cards to make and so little time :) I am so happy Memory Box stamps and dies are perfect to create those quick cards too.

IMG_5503a_wm

To create this card I took a red top folding card. I then cut a white mat layer. I die-cut the "Leafy Ring" from this panel. Remember to keep the leaves as we will color them using copic markers. I then die-cut a circle in the center.

I created a blue wash onto a watercolor piece, sprayed it with frost shimmer spray and adhered the white mat layer  onto it. I then adhered the leaves back to it. It simply fits like a puzzle :)

I then added some Nuvo Drops to some of the circles to create berries. I left some of the circles empty as it looks like snow to me.

IMG_5509a_wm

Now I die-cut the words "let it snow" twice, once using silver and 2nd. using black cardstock. I adhered the black word under the silver to create shadow effect. Adhere the sentiment to the mat layer and adhere this layer to the cardbase using 3D foam.

Hope you enjoyed my project and got inspired to create your Christmas cards. Thanks for stopping by

Warm Wishes
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! It's Isha here today, sharing a fun CAS Christmas card which is easy to mass produce. I can't resist these cute and adorable dies from our winter release. I really like how it turned out. Added bonus, once we have the Deco Trees cut out from three different cardstock, we can make 3 cards :)

Isha_wm

To start, I die-cut the white mat layer using the "Deco Trees" die. I then die-cut the same using 3 colors of glitter paper. I then die-cut the Warm Winter Wishes sentiment using red and clear glitter cardstock and stacked them together, making sure the red peeks through a little.

I then die-cut a scalloped stitch trimming and adhered it to the white mat layer.

Now it's time to put pieces to the puzzle. I adhered craft foam to the back side of my white layer and added pieces of deco tree to the panel. I randomly picked the colors. I then adhered the sentiment and adhered this panel to the red cardbase.

Warm Wishes
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! September is almost over and before we know it, it will be time to post the Christmas cards. I am always last minute so this year I decided to start sooner :) I can't resist these cute and adorable images from our winter release.

I decided to use the cute and adorable snowman and some light bulbs to decorate my scene.

IMG_5219a_wm

I started with die-cutting the Timberland Collage die onto white cardstock. Then I sponged some pink shaded of distress inks to another piece of white cardstock. Once I had it to my liking, I flicked some silver and gold paints onto it. I then stamped the snowman and the lights, colored them with Copic markers. I then die-cut them using the co-ordinating dies. I used some 3D foam behind the collage die panel and adhered it to the inked panel. Then I adhered this panel to the cardbase.

Warm Wisher Slider Card
by Isha Gupta

Hello everyone! Isha here sharing a fun interactive card today. Love love the cute and adorable elves from this stamp set. It's a perfect match with the slider dies.

IMG_5072a_wm

I started with stamping and die-cutting the trees. I then sponged some distress inks to them.

Then, I created a top folding cardbase and sponged some yellow ink to it.

I die-cut two hills using the Stitched Curves dies and sponged some distress inks to it.

Then I stamped, colored the elf and the cup using copic markers. Then I die-cut the images using co-ordinating dies.

I made a slit in the cup and put the elf in. This will be like the elf slides and bring hot cacao :) Total fun!!!

Finally for the interactive part, I cut the slider in the bottom hill panel. Attached the image to a penny using a 3D foam and slid it inside the slider. I adhered this panel to the card using 3D foam.

For some extra details, I die-cut a snowflake and snipped to get the center of it. This fits perfectly inside the cup :)

Assemble everything together.

Hello everyone! Isha here sharing yet another CAS card. Have you started on your Christmas cards yet? It sure is early but the sooner the better :) I started mine using the new Holiday 2017 collection.

IMG_0093a_wm

I started with die-cutting the Silent Snowflake Frame die. I then created a top folding card and sponged some distress inks for the subtle color.

Now I adhered the die-cut frame to the cardbase.

I die-cut Little candle trio die 3 times. Once using white cardstock and 2 times using black cardstock. Color the white die-cut using copic markers and apply wink of stelly clear glitter. Stack all the die-cuts together.

Die-cut the sentiment using gold cardstock. Assemble everything together.

Hello everyone! Isha here sharing a CAS "Just a Note" card using the AWESOME holiday new release dies. I love how versatile these are. I could have easily made it into a Christmas/ Winter card too but decided to make a general card :)

IMG_4912a_wm

I started with die-cutting the Deer Family Circle and Stitched Circle Trees using white cardstock panel. I then colored the trees, snow and the deers using Copic markers.

Stamp sentiment onto the Deer panel.

Apply some Nuvo glimmer paste for the snow.

Cut the deer panel slightly smaller than the cardbase. Adhere the pine tree panel behind the Deer panel using thin foam pad.

Sponge some yellow distress ink to the cardbase. Flick little water for some texture.

Adhere the mat layer to the cardbase.
