To create this card, I started with the mixed media background panel. First I  used applied some modelling paste to create the bottom bubbles and let it dry. I then used distress inks as watercolor and created a wash. Let it dry.

Then I used Imagine Crafts creative medium and applied it through another stencil to create small bubbles. I then stamped the images onto a watercolor panel and colored them using Zig Clean color real brush markers. Once dry, I cut them using the co ordinating dies.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment and assembled everything together.

Simply Amazing card
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! Did you check out the new release yet? It's GORGEOUS...love it. Today, I used one of the new dies and sentiment from the new stamp set for my CAS mixed media card. Love how delicate it turned out.

To create this card, I started with die-cutting this delicate Floral Fantasy Frame die out of white cardstock (notice, I didn't remove all the die-cut pieces. This is just for added interest). I then Took another piece of white cardstock to create the background. First, I applied picked raspberries, squeezed lemonade and mustard seed distress ink onto the piece. I then dabbed the ink-pad to the craft mat, added a little water and flicked some ink. Once dry, I applied some Gesso and let it dry.

Then I stamped the sentiment and adhered the die-cut floral border to the layer. Finally, I adhered this to a white cardbase. To finish, I applied some Nuvo Drops to accent the card.

Happy Birthday card
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! Time flies and we are already in May but here in Switzerland we are still having lots of rain, occasional snow. We are waiting for some rain free days and some sunshine :)

Anyhow, I needed a quick masculine birthday card and both of these dies helped me do just that. I used inlaid die-cutting technique for the Scalloped Stitch Trimmings, so it looks part of the background and the sentiment stays as my focal point.

To create this card, I die-cut the sentiment using a white cardstock piece. I then sponged it using distress inks to create this Ombre look. I then die-cut it 2 more times using white cardstock and once using black cardstock. I then stacked both the white together and then adhered the black layer slightly off set to give a little shadow effect. Finally, on the top I adhered the ink sponged sentiment. I then applied glossy accent onto it and let it dry.

For the cardbase, I took a white mat layer and  die-cut it using the scallop Trimming die. I then cut another Scallop Trimming of the same size, using black cardstock. I then took a top folded white cardbase and adhered the white negative piece of the Scalloped Trimming piece. I then snuggled the black trimming piece and then adhered the white negative inside piece. This kept the cardbase flat.

Finally, I adhered the Happy Birthday sentiment.

Hello and Welcome! Today, I have yet another of the pretty butterfly card for you. I really love these delicate butterflies from the Potenza Butterfly Trio dies.

For this card, I first die-cut the Timberland collage die using white cardstock. I then die-cut the Grove Collage die using Mint cardstock. Then I simply sponged some distress ink onto my cardbase. I adhered all the layers using 3D foam tape for added dimension.

I then die-cut the biggest butterfly using white cardstock and colored it using copic markers. For some subtle shimmer I used Wink of stella clear glitter pen over it.

Finally, I adhered the butterfly onto the card front.

Beautiful Butterflies
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! Spring is here and slowly we are going towards summer...well!!! we do have some snow this week :) A perfect April weather for April. We had sun, snow, rain and wind all in one week.

Anyhow!!! There are some butterflies fluttering by too and I love them, so wanted to create this card using the Butterfly Spectacle and Potenza Butterfly Trio dies.

Isha_Apr17_card2

To create this card, I first created the sky background using vellum. I sponged Sail Boat Blue alcohol ink onto the vellum and let it dry. I then die-cut the white layer using Butterfly Spectacle to create a window. I adhered the sky background behind this window. Love the soft effect.

I then die-cut the butterflies using the Potenza Butterfly Trio die. I colored them using Zig Clean Color real brush markers and applied some zig clear shimmer over them. I stamped the sentiment and then adhered the butterflies onto the mat layer.

I then adhered the mat layer to a light grey cardstock.

Hope you enjoyed today's creation. Thanks for stopping by!

Silhouette Scene
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! Today, I have this silhouette scene for you using the adorable  Deer Grove Oval die. I really like the delicate feel of the leaves hanging from above.

IMG_9385a_wm

I simply am enjoying the fresh colors of spring, so I decided to play with my twinkling H2O as it gives a lovely shimmer to the background, which I feel is perfect for this adorable image.

IMG_9385a_wm

I started with cutting a oval and applying 2 colors of twinkling H2O using a waterbrush. Then I let the background dry. I then cut the image using black cardstock and adhered it to the oval die-cut piece. I then adhered this panel to that black mat layer.

To finish, I adhered the mat layer to a aqua cardbase.

Hope you enjoyed today's simple creation. Thanks for stopping by!!

Thank You
by Isha Gupta

Hello Everyone! I am Isha from Switzerland, where I live with my husband and 2 girls. I have been crafting for a bit more than 5 years now and just love creating. I am so excited and honored to be joining the Memory Box team. Love their products and how versatile they are :) Thank you Dave for having me here along with all the wonderful creative team.

I hope you enjoyed all the new dies featured during the blitz last week :) It's still cold here, although spring has started. Now it is time to think about summer...lol And this adorable Jellyfish just wanted to float around!

For my card, I simply sponged the background using various colors of distress inks. Once I was satisfied with how it looked, I flicked some water and perfect pearl spray. This gives added dimension and a subtle sheen. I then die-cut the Jellyfishes using watercolor paper and colored them using zig clean color markers. Then, I flicked some white paint mixed with water onto them and let it dry.

I then adhered them to the background layer using some 3D foam of various thickness, to create some dimension. To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment and embossed the sentiment and cut a strip.

Finally, I adhered the finished panel to a white cardbase.

Hope you enjoyed my card. Happy crafting!
