A snowman-style stack of the new Stitched Farm Pumpkins meets the Swirling Ghosts here today. Have you noticed a lot of triple-stacked pumpkin displays lately? I have - and although the laws of gravity (and cardmaking) would have them layered in front of the pumpkins below, I wanted the stems to show. So here they are!
Hi, Jean Okimoto here with another matchup of old and new design elements from several releases. A googly-eyed pumpkin cut from a portion of a Persimmon Notecard adds a bright dash of color that every Halloween card needs.
Cut Grassland Collage from orange cardstock and trim around it with the largest Rectangle Basics die. Trim the right edge. The Rectangle Basics and Square Basics sets are great trimmers when your design requires straight edges and uniform borders. Using a rectangle or square die guarantees at least three straight, accurate edges - then just cut one remaining edge for a perfect frame!
Cut Mango Distressed Dots with the 1-1/4" Circle Basics Die.
Cut Swirling Ghosts from watercolor paper.
Attach the diecuts to a black A-6 (4-5/8" x 6-1/4") card - use foamdots for the two ghosts in the collage. Add green gem stickers.
Halloween just seems to say it's OK to switch colors around a bit, add a big dotty moon - and a cross-eyed Jack o' Lantern. Have fun with your cards - and surprise the lucky recipients this fall!
Thanks a bunch for stopping by...
