Elves and Sliders...Oh My!

Greetings friends.  This week we would like to share with you ideas for using the two new slider die sets from Memory Box that allow you to add fun movement to your cards.  We also want to give you a sneak peek of the two new elf sets that will be released soon by Memory Box.  We hope that you will be inspired!

Elfmail1

The first card has two elves from the Christmas Elves clear set and uses one of the slider dies to send the envelope to the mailbox.  The background was created with Distress Oxide inks and the snowbank was cut from one of the new Stitched Curves shapes.  The Stitched Curves are great to create snow, but you could also make them green for grass or brown for dirt.  After all, why not use them year-round for your cardmaking?

Here is a close up of the Copic coloring of one of the elves:

Another new elf set is the Playtime Elves set:

Nothing quite says movement in the winter quite like sledding quickly down some hills!

Hope you will stop by this week to see more cards in action!
