Metallic Butterfly

Metallic-Birthday

Hey there Memory Box fans. Nothing I like better on a card than a little bling. Using Matte Metallic cardstock and some Glitter cardstock makes putting a card like this together so very easy. I love how the tiny circles really let the Blue shine come through.

Let me walk you through this:

Start with a White cardstock base trimmed to 4.25 x 11 inches, then folded in half.

Cut Teal cardstock 4.25 x 5.50 inches, Use a Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen around the edges and across the top half of the panel. Adhere this panel to the card base.

Cut Matte Metallic Purple cardstock 4 x 5.25 inches. Die cut Bubble Burst along the length of the card as shown and adhere to card front.

Die cut a Morning Garden Butterfly from Purple Glitter cardstock and another of the same butterfly from Teal cardstock.

I like to keep some of the tiny pieces intact on the butterflies by adding glue to the backside.

Inlay a few of the Teal pieces into the Glitter butterfly and adhere both butterflies to card front.

Stamp and heat emboss sentiment from the Wishing You Sentiments set using VersaFine Imperial Purple and Clear powder on Vellum. Add the bottom sentiment with VersaMark ink and White powder.

Finish the card by adding a few sequins here and there.

Happy Crafting,

Pennysignature
