Wishing You Love
by Lindsay

Hello, and happy February!

I can't quite believe that this month is here already! I get excited when February comes around, because as a card maker, it means a lot of Love and Friendship cards to make! Sending people a handmade card is more appreciated that we know. I won't lie, though..I have a hard time actually getting them in the mail. You too?

The latest release, however, makes it super easy to get these sweet cards made! I used the Classic Stitched Heart Rings to create this dreamy card, today. Let me tell you how I did it. I took the hearts, and placed them onto an A2 white card base, and ran it through my die cut machine. I then took a piece of typing paper, and covered the back of the front piece using a lot of adhesive. I ran the hearts through again, with gold card stock, and reinserted the outer heart rings back in the front of the card. The hearts that I had die cut from the card front that were inked with Distress Inks in Teal, Fuchsia, and light Pink, and reinserted back into the heart openings as well.

I then began working on my sentiment. I used a combination of stamps, and a die to create a bit more interest to my sentiment. The Love die cut is from the 2015 Holiday collection, so my apologies if you are unable to find it, however, any similar font would work! I die cut it multiple times from black card stock, and layered them up. I stamped the Wishing You from the So Many Things to Love stamp set, and adhered the die cut down with liquid glue.

To finish it, I adhered a scattering of clear sequins across the front of the card. I hope you enjoyed, and were inspired to create a few love themed, or friendship cards to send to people you care about! Have a great day!
