A quick pruning trims the Tall Poppy Left Corner into a set of blossoms to adorn a Stitched Heart Layer for a simple friendship or Valentine card. Hi there - Jean Okimoto here - with another design combining some of my favorite products from different releases.
I recently re-discovered my Stitched Country Borders set of 5 great, versatile dies. The small scalloped border is used to visually balance the Stitched Heart and create the illusion of a grassy border. Deep thinking here!
Don't you just love it when we're able to mix and match and get the most from our Memory Box and Open Studio designs?
Cut Tall Left Poppy Corner from green cardstock and lay it on white cardstock. Place the largest Stitched Heart Layer over it to determine where to trim it.
Cut the two flowers and the bud from pink cardstock. Cut the remaining flower from pink glittered craft foam. Trim the stems and attach the three pink cardstock pieces. Diecut the heart around the poppies. Add tiny dots of glue to secure the bottom of the stems. Attach the craft foam heart.
Run the small scalloped Country Stitches Border through the machine twice to cut a 4-½" long border.
Stamp the greeting - from the So Many Things to Love clear stamp set - with Imagine Crafts Radiant Neons Electric Pink and emboss it with detail clear powder. Trim it with the 2" x ¾" Rectangle Basics die.
Attach everything to a side-folded A-2 card of textured white cardstock - use foamdots for the greeting. Add tiny clear iridescent sequins.
It may be a bit too cold to be out gardening...but that won't stop us from trimming our favorite diecuts to create cards for the special people in our lives!
