The quirky, hand-drawn look of the Scribble Christmas Stamp Set creates a casual design in cool contemporary colors. Add some twirly "string" from the Millbrook Ornament and send your unique card to someone special this Christmas. Hi, Jean Okimoto here, with a new stamp set that's quickly becoming a holiday favorite.
Stamp the solid ornament backgrounds on white cardstock with Pearlescent Purple, Lime and Jade Brilliance. Dry the inks, then stamp the circle outlines and interior details with Onyx Black Versafine. Emboss the designs with detail clear powder. The purple and jade ornaments have the same details - stamped upside-down for a completely different look. Don't you just love how Dave thinks about things like that?
Mask the top of the jade ornament and stamp the greeting.
Stamp and emboss the ornament caps. Diecut them.
Diecut two of the Millwork Ornament 'strings' and attach them above the purple and lime ornaments - one of them is upside-down so they look different and aren't too matchy. Attach the ornament caps.
Attach everything to a Pool Notecard. Add pink, green, jade and tiny clear sequins.
Hope you like this different style as much as I do. It's versatile and fun...and I love how easy it is to coordinate the design elements.
Thanks a bunch for stopping by. If you're in the Seattle area, join us for the ASIAN EXPRESS class at Impress on Saturday August 13. We'll make 6 contemporary cards and get the most from our stash of dies and beautiful silkscreened papers. Who knew that Memory Box and Poppystamps dies would be so perfect for Asian designs?
