Happy Butterflies
by Jenny Griffiths

Hello Crafty Friends,

How about a "just because" card for someone to brighten their day...here is one I'd like to share today in the hopes it brings you inspiration and sparks your card making creativity.

I wanted to show that you can use corner stamps in a different way.  This beautiful Chrysanthemum corner is placed at an angle and adds an interesting twist to conventional card compositions.  Happy Butterflies-JGriffiths

After it was layered and positioned "askew" onto the Speckled Background,  I added the Paintbrush Happy sentiment which is stacked 5 layers high for great dimension.  It's easy to glue the layers together using a very fine tipped wet glue bottle and a pair of tweezers---tweezers were used to squeeze the letters into alignment where needed.

My new Mini Butterflies die was put into action today to create an ombre effect using varying shades of purples.  I'm not sure you can tell from the photos but the mini butterflies and the "happy" sentiment were lightly glittered--it just seemed right that "happy" and butterflies should sparkle!

You may know someone who needs a "Happy" card from out of the blue--from you.

Happy Thursday and thank you for stopping by today!
