Welcome to Day Four of our Blog Blitz! What great ideas so far with the latest release, one of the best ever! It was a tough choice deciding which ones to work with, I'll tell ya! With this being the fourth day of the blitz, by now you know that leaving a comment on each of our posts will give you a chance to win a prize, and who doesn't love that?!! The prize for this post will be revealed at the end of the post!
I don't know if the plural of moose is "meese" but I sure did fall in love with all of them in the Moose Crossing dies and the set of matching stamps. Here is a clean and simple card using a few these dies.
The card base is an A-2 size base from cream card stock. I cut a smaller piece of the same card stock to 5" x 3.75". I stamped, die cut and colored two of these cute little critters, along with the bow and the heart, and colored them with Frayed Burlap, Brushed Corduroy and Spun Sugar Distress Inks and a watercolor brush.
They are just so cute! I die cut one of the layers from the Hexagon Layers set, and sponged Spun Sugar through the Cressida stencil to create a small background. I added the sprigs from the Jolly Holly Branch set behind the hexagon piece, then added the little characters and heart with foam tape as shown. I found some pink dew drop embellishments in my stash and added one to the heart. I cut apart the phrase "It Moose Be Love" so that I could stack the words before stamping them onto the card stock piece. Once this was all put together, I mounted it with foam tape onto the card base.
There are many images included in the stamp set, all with the matching dies, and just so fun to play with! Hope you enjoy this card, and thanks for stopping by! Before you go, be sure to leave a comment for a chance to win the Jolly Holly Branches die! But don't go too far ... there will be another post this afternoon with continued inspiration to come!
