Good Morning Marnie here and I wan to with you The Happiest New Year! Did everyone PARTY all Night Long? We had a lovely time with Family and I ate way too much junk food which is our tradition. But oh my it was yummy. I have a bit of salt overload today though need to drink lots of water. I'm here with a Memory Box Celebration Card today.
Here is a little bit of FUN for you all. First on Kraft cardstock, with the Snowfall Stamp I stamped VersaMark all around the edges with the little dots and embossed with the Imagine Crafts Black Embossing Powder. This did leave a bit of a blank in the middle but I just punched it out with a circle. Then I foam taped the piece onto a Black cardstock mat. In the center I cut out the Urban Numbers from Gold Mirror Card and added a bit of Diamond Stickles around them. They are so much more glittery in person it's hard to capture. The corner bow was also cut out of the Gold Mirror Card and added on top. And lastly it was all layered onto Gold and then onto a Kraft Card. Pretty and Simple for the New Year. So Modern!
Hello dear Memory Box friends! Its Evgenia Petzer with you today and I have another eco-friendly card for you, I have used some of the Memory Box dies and added the cinnamon stick, the half of the dried orange and other bits, lets have a look?
and some close ups:
I have used 4 different dies in this card, some of them you can see just by the little bits here, but here is the full list of what I have used:
Plush Poinsettia Corner (98967)
Pine Needle Border (98467)
Cabrini Ornament (98926)
Large Olive Branch (98797)
For those who celebrate- have a very blessed Happy new Year! Will see you in there:)
Merry Christmas! Marnie here, I hope everyone is enjoying this Holiday Season with their Family and Friends!
Here is a little bit of Happy for you all. I love the Have a Jolly Christmas die it always makes me break into song. I know you can here it, "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas, it's the Best Time of the Year". We've just cut the die out of Gold Mirror Card and adhered it to the Cranberry Gingham. Filling in the Holly, berries, ornaments and some snowflakes with stickles! So fun!
I hope this Christmas season is finding you all well and happy! I have really been enjoying getting ready for our son's 2nd Christmas but the first one where he will be able to open presents and really be an active participant of the festivities!
I have a few things to show you today, done by one of our fantastic instructors, Therese P. at our store The Stamp Addict in San Diego. She did these for her holiday tables and brought them into the store to show off and I just had to share them with you!
She made a little Candle light holder for part of her centerpiece using star dies for the cut outs and the Snowflake Favor Box die as a base....isn't she clever!
She also made a cute angel out of one of those boxes to put in her centerpiece as well and decorated the angels dress (box) with the Starfall stamp!
Then she made these name placeholders....just add a foldover name topper and some ribbon...and voila!
And these napkin holders...all using the box die as a base and poinsettia die for the topper with some ribbon to add some bling! Hint, to get the napkin through the box, she used an all over/repositionable circle punch on two of the sides of the box.
I love what she did with all of them...I know her Christmas table setting will look fabulous this year and I hope what I showed you inspires you to try a few ideas out for your next celebration too!
Good Morning Marnie here! We're counting down exactly 7 days until Christmas if you count today. Only 7 Days to make cards, craft, shop, bake, wrap, ship, decorate, and so on. I'm almost done this year only a couple more little things then all the wrapping and baking to come. Our house has come down with a cold unfortunately but they will be healthy by the Holiday's so that's AWESOME. But I adore all of the preparations. It is my favorite time and I always seem to be stuck for another idea for a few more cards, last minute? Here's one for you.
It's a pretty simple card so you can create quickly just cut the Big Word Pop Curve out of the the Cranberry Moroccan paper and snip off the talky bubble piece to make one giant hill. Now add the Poinsettia Bloom Trio, I cut it out of 2 shades of red to add a bit of interest. For the centers this time I added Mercury Glass Stickles. Tuck some of the Forest Pine Branch into the Poinsettias. This entire piece gets built onto the Blueberry Gingham mat and layered onto a Kraft Card. I did stamp Merry Christmas as my greeting.
Press the Caribbean Sea inkpad onto an acrylic stamp block. Use a slightly damp wide, flat paintbrush to apply overlapping bands of ink to a strip of watercolor paper - rinse the brush between colors. Air-dry the inks for about 5 minutes, then heat-set them.
Stamp Merry Christmas with VersaMark, emboss it with gold powder. Stamp Jolly Combo with Love Letter, emboss it with clear powder.
Cut Cheers Script from white cardstock. Cut A Batch of Gingerbread and Snowflake Heart from gold mirror cardstock. Cut Snowflake Heart again from red mirror cardstock. Cut Party Drinks from silver mirror cardstock.
Cut the notecards in half - they're the perfect size for gift tags. Assemble the tags and add gold cord ties.
Pamhere...I love Christmas! All the creating, sending and receiving cards...just makes me happy! Here's the Cabrini Ornament diecut in Licorice, Cranberry and Meadow card-stocks and pieced together. I really like the black outline. I'm so glad I purchased the Pine Needles die! They just finish the presentation of so many of the winter/Christmas dies. I glittered with stickles glitter glue... I know... the glitter cheater way! haha
The whimsical touch of bakers twine...just have to stop myself from using it on every card!
A little Copic coloring on the ornament, holly and berries...
Pretty colors, shimmery inks and little gold stars...quite the opposite of the winter storm and power glitches we're having right now! Jean Okimoto here with a "something old, something new" design for you.
