Did the title throw you?  think Christmas?  Well, I just thought it might be fun with this owl! Guess it could say, "and to owl a good night"!  Although it doesn't look like he'll be sleeping anytime soon...bright eyes!

The background stamp is Moonlight Woods  stamped on parchment card-stock and aged with Distress inks and the ink blending tool.  I did a reverse mask so I could ink the moon with Dusty Concord and Spiced Marmalade.  I stamped the Night Owl on parchment twice, cut one out completely and just the wing out of the other and inked both with Walnut Stain Distress ink and Memento Espresso ink.

I layered to Jack O Lantern card-stock and distressed the edges with a paper distressing tool.

A piece of the Grand Oak Tree cut from Licorice card-stock to extend the branch 'look'.

I stamped the Vintage Scroll stamp on all four corners of an A-2 Kraft notecard.  Aged the edges with Walnut Stain Distress ink and the ink blending tool.

I inked up the sentiment so part went above the panel and the good night went on a Pastry Label die cut from Jack O Lantern card-stock.

I cut the branch above and below so I could slide the owl behind and have him sitting on the branch.  I made the marks for his feet with a black ink pen.

I used a white gel pen on the eyes and Ranger black enamel for the dot.  I tried googly eyes but...they just weren't quite right!

Well, it's time for me to say good night! : )  Thanks for looking and hope you're enjoying the Fall card contest going on right now!
