New paper, new stamps and new die cuts--all from "What's in the Box" by Memory Box. This week promises to be full of creativity and inspiration as the Design Team posts several times per day revealing this beautiful new collection...Enjoy!
My favorite die is the new Wild Blooms --isn't it gorgeous?
Oh wait...my favorite die is the Debutante Frame...but I also love the Willow Dragonfly die--it's the best! It's impossible to choose just one favorite, they're all so amazing...
Here's how I used my multiple favorites to make this card:
- Start with a 5 1/2 square white card. Layer with Wildbloom patterned paper.
- Die cut 1 Viola and 1 Aloe layer using the Debutante Frame die (98297)
- Die Cut the Wildblooms (98315) on the Aloe layer with the stems trailing off the lower edge. Be sure to save the small triangular piece that falls away--you need to adhere it separately to your card to define the stems.
- Adhere the Viola layer behind the Aloe layer.
- Stamp Vintage Dreams (G1838) in sky blue ink.
- Stamp Just a Note greeting (B1852) using Grape Jelly Memento ink; use Primo Labels (98139) to die cut. Foam dots to elevate.
- Die cut the Willow Dragonfly (98319) from turquoise Iris Shimmer Sheets. Fold wings up and adhere body pieces together with Glossy Accents. Attach to card.
Finally, add silk lavender bow to top fold of card---Voila! or should I say, Viola!
So, how did you like this peek of the new collection? And there's so much more to come...
We're giving away prizes all week, here's how you can enter to win:
- Upload your cards to the Memory Box Flickr site this week during our blitz to be elgible to win the new 6" x 6" Viola paper pack as well as any Memory Box stamp of your choice. Two winners will be selected and featured here on the Outside the Box blog. Make any themed project you want, but you have to use at least one Memory box stamp or die. Piece of cake! Post those cards folks!
- Leave comments on blog posts. We love to hear from you--don't be just a "lurker", let us know you're checking us out. At the end of each day, one comment will be selected at random from all of that day's posts to win a prize. There will be 2-3 posts each day, so if you leave a comment for each designer, you will have multiple chances to win that day's prize. A winner will be selected at 11:59pm EST each night.
We're here all week (Feb 6 through Feb 10)---hope you will be too!
