Hi, everyone. So sorry for the late blog post today!
I love the stamps and dies that go together like today's feature, the Mercer Rose Wreath. It's so delicate and beautiful.
Of course, I had to make it grungy. I guess that just shows how versatile Memory Box stamps and dies are!
- I inked up the Mercer Rose Wreath stamp (D1840) using Memento markers directly on the stamp. I then "huffed" on the stamp to re-moisten it (I know it sounds disgusting but it works) and stamped on white card stock.
- Die cut the image with the Mercer Rose Wreath die (98322) and set aside.
- Stamp Distressed Garden Record (g1848) onto white card stock and trim. Then distress with Distress Inks. I used Tumbled Glass, Shabby Shutters, and Dusty Concord. Attach this piece to the new Slate card stock.
- I die cut a piece of white card stock with the Charlotte Border Die (98242) and distressed it with Brushed Corduroy. I cut a small strip of Slate card stock and a small strip of Wildbloom pattern paper and attached them over the strip and then attached all to the front of a Sweet Corn Note Card.
- I attached the Distressed Garden Record with Foam Tape and the Mercer Rose Wreath with foam tape on top of that.
- Stamp Something Special Combo onto a small piece of white card stock and attach to the front of the card.
I hope you have a great day!
