Today's card features the new Dogwood Flower inspiring thoughts of spring.
Recipe:
- Stamp dogwood on white cardstock using brown archival ink. Repeat on another piece of white cardstock. Color with watercolor pencils and waterbrush.
- Stamp Dream Text on white cardstock using versamark. Heat emboss using clear embossing powder. Sponge on blue dye ink.
- Stamp sentiment using brown ink on white cardstock. Cut to size and distress edges.
- Distress edges of background using distressing tool and sponge on white acrylic paint.
- Die cut butterfly from text background. Die cut overlay with white cardstock. Sponge overlay with brown dye ink.
- Layer burlap, background and flower onto card base.
Clean and simple spring card!

This is gorgeous!! Love all the layers and rustic embellies you used really give it an "outdoor" feel... perfect for a pretty dogwood!! One of my favorite flowers too!
