Here's one of the cards we'll be making at my October 1 class at Scrapadoodle in Peoria, IL. It features the adorable Beary Good paper (10137) and the Classic Ornament Outline Stamp (D1785) and Die (98211).
I started off randomly painting a piece of cold-press watercolor paper with various Twinkling H2O's. Once it was dry, I inked up the Classic Ornament Outline Stamp with Versafine Black Onyx ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Next up, I die cut this image with the Classic Ornament Outline die.
To assemble the card:
- Attach a Licorice mat (4 1/8" X 5 3/8") to Blue Poppy Note card
- Cut a piece of Beary Good paper (4" X 5 1/4") and attach to Licorice mat
- Take a piece of Licorice card stock (2" X 4 1/4") and die cut the long end with the Sanibel Border die (98178)
- Attach a piece of Bluebird Gingham (2 X 4 1/4") on top of that
- Stamp We Wish (B1808) in the lower right corner of the gingham paper
- Attach a piece of ribbon (about 3") to front of card with strong adhesive
- Die cut Woven Circle (98114) from Blue Poppy card stock and attach to front of card with foam tape
- Attach stamped ornament to front of card
- Die cut just the ornament cap from Mars Soiree paper using the Classic Ornament Die
- Embellish ornament as you like
I've been having a great time teaching at some new stores lately; Prairie Art Stamps in Springfield, IL and Scrapadoodle in Peoria, IL. Thank you Terri and Lynn for inviting me!I'm so thankful for our local stamping and scrapbook stores. Please support them.

Beautiful watercolor effect from the H2O's and I love the delicate nature of those Memory Box dies!
