I've been patiently (?) waiting for dies I ordered through my local stamp store and happily received them on Wednesday. It's always fun to play with new dies. If you're looking for simple for a Christmas card, I don't think you could get much more simple than this. This card has no stamping only dies. Maybe use B1301 All is Calm for the inside sentiment? This reminded me of peering out the window at a peaceful winter scene and Dave's creativity does all the work for us. I thought a simple, peaceful card would be appropriate also for this day of remembrance.
Dies used - 98166 Deer Trio, 98167 Star of Wonder
Papers: Kraft note card, Parchment, Licorice Dots, Soiree Cherry
Other: Nestabilities Labels 18
Maybe take a moment today to honor all those who lost their lives or those who lost those they loved ten years ago.

Great to see you in class yesterday, Debbie! Your cards are lovely as always!!

Okay! I know you've already picked out the cards for our next classes, but could we squeeze this one in too if we promise to work real hard? Your design talent is only exceeded by your patience when you teach and share those designs with your classes. Love, love, love this card!

Thanks for all the nice comments! You'll still be able to make it, but it will probably be in the November Quick and Easy Memory Box Christmas class. The day I posted I still had an excavator in front of the house to remind me of the ongoing sewer project and a son with a fever and stomach flu to take care of. So nice comments from you all were very welcome. I don't know what I would do without my faithful students and friends! Debbie
